“……..” A soft sigh left his lips as he stared blankly at the piece of paper in front of him. How long had it been since he last saw her? This was the thought that appeared within his head for the past week. His work was keeping him busy for so long that he barely got any time to rest.

Another puff of air was released from his lungs. He lowered the paper, rolling the pen within his hand. It had been too long since he last heard her voice. He almost forgot how nice her voice is, how her breath-taking smile would be able to make his heart race up, or how she’d wrap her arms around him and whisper how much she loves him.

The third sigh escaped and he found himself leaning back against his own chair, hand coming up to massage his head. He wondered if she missed him too…

So… it’s Valentines huh…?

Ah… I don’t know what to write or where to begin. I’m really bad at stuff like this, but Iku had been urging me to do this, saying it’s a special day and I should do something rather than sleeping.

He’s the one to talk huh? He didn’t even have a lover.

Ah, I’m getting off topic. Anyway, I want to do something special, but as I said, I’m not good with stuff like this, so all I could think of was writing a letter. I don’t even know what I’m writing up until now..

I think… what I’m trying to say is that…

I love you, Ryu… so much…

Thank you for teaching me what true love is like. I never thought I would be able to love someone or deserves to be loved by anyone until you showed up. You’re my light, my hope, my everything. You showed me what it’s like to really stand up for yourself. You gave me courage to face the truth, pulling me up when I fell down. Thank you… for everything you’ve done for me.

I don’t even know if what I’m doing would be enough to repay you, or would I be able to repay all you’ve done for me. No one is more important than you, Ryu. I never feel for someone like how I feel about you. I want to protect you, to keep you safe, to remind you over and over of how much you mean to me.

But… I know I’m not a good boyfriend at all. I’m far from perfect, and I always make you worry, leaving you alone and make you sad. I even think that I’m not qualified enough to be called your lover at all. Sometimes I couldn’t be with you when you need me, despite how much I wanted to stay by your side, to wipe you tears and hold you close to me.

Still… despite all that… you still chose to be with me. To stay with someone like me, the worst boyfriend in the world. You still remain by my side, always smile for me, telling me how much you love me…

The brunette immediately lowered the volume of her voice the moment she saw the Libra sound asleep, his work papers providing a cushion support as he drifted off to deep slumber.

A slight smile came on her face. It can’t be helped huh? After all, she wasn’t the only one who has been staying up late all week, swarmed with work. She quietly entered the room and slid the door behind her shut to a quiet thud. 

Peering over his sleeping face, the brunette didn’t simply smiled as she hesitantly and slowly patted his hair before heading over to the closet to get a blanket and draping it over his shoulders. She didn’t really feel like waking him up to get him to a more comfortable sleeping place but she didn’t want him to get a cold either. This is the best she could think of for now.

Making her way to the empty table next to him, she cleared some of the finished paperwork in order, clearing a small space as she took her sketchbook and pens to finish what she was working on, the soft breeze blew in between the curtains as she silently put her headphones on.

Un. This is okay too. As long as he was around her, she didn’t really mind. She didn’t mind this at all.

The soft, warm material being draped over his body caused him to stir a bit, but the fatigue was pushing him down and preventing him from being awake. He was too tired, but the faint touch on his shoulder and the familiar scent he couldn’t explain was filling the air. The familiar scent that calmed him down and caused his heart to race at the same time.

“…..I..-ove.. yo…. Ry..u…” He muttered softly, his consciousness drifting in and out before falling into the deep slumber once again.

He missed her…

It was finally a weekend and the brunette had been devoid of all her work that had been binding her the whole week. Eager to spend time with a certain someone, she peeked her head into the room, hoping to catch a glance of a certain Teal Haired Libra.

“…K-Kotarou? You here?” a timid inquire as she hid behind the door. 

The Libra was sleeping on the chair, face lying at the desk with paperwork scattered all over. The week has been tiring. No, actually since the new semester began, he was very busy that he didn’t have time to do anything, even to get a proper rest or spend his free time since he didn’t have any at all.

With this little free time, he decided to take a nap. And the fatigue collected up until now made him fall asleep in a matter of seconds.

He glanced over to the girl, smiling slightly as he saw her slump against her working desk with many papers scatter all over the places, still with a pencil in her hand.

“Otsukare.” He said softly after making his way to stand next to her and bent down to kiss her head, causing the girl to lifted her head up immediately. A gentle chuckle rang within his throat.

The brunette heaved a sigh as she took off her glasses and shut her laptop. It was a difficult homework for her since she was to create the homework using the program the lecturer told her to use and it wasn’t proving to be very user-friendly for the Digitally-Illiterate art student. She’ll just have to try again tomorrow.

Turning around to the desk behind her was her favourite School Nurse, absorbed into his own work of sorting papers, possibly having to do with the School and whatnot. A soft smile found herself at the corner of her lips at the sight of his tall back, arching over the table to sign along the designated dotted lines. It was the back of a hardworking man; something she loved about the Libra.

Slowly she went up behind him, placing a hand on his shoulder first, making sure that she didn’t startle him intently doing his work. Then a simple kiss on the cheek as she childishly grinned at the Teal hair, a slight tint painted on her cheeks. She just couldn’t help herself when she saw him looking so hard-working. 

“I’m heading to bed first. Don’t stay up too late okay?” Slowly lifting her hand of his shoulder, her smiled a softer smile at him before finally bidding him a final goodnight;

“Sweet dreams and Goodnight, Kotarou.”

The soft hand touching his shoulder caught him a little off guard, but the familiar warmth from the tiny palm made the corners of his mouth edged up slightly. The feather like kiss on his cheek and the way she smiled shyly at him only served to make his smile widen even more.

“I’m going to bed now as well…” He said, putting down the pen in his right hand and stretched himself slightly. He reached out to grab her wrist, giving a light tug for her to get close to him and swiftly kissed her on the lips. The instant crimson flashing across her face forced a soft chuckle from his throat.

“Let’s sleep together…” He murmured, hand playing with her soft hair. “I love you, Ryu..”

His hand came over her head, softly patting it over and over. She found herself breathing in a sigh of relief at the effect of his gesture. Hands came up to wipe the slight tears at the sight of her eyes as she shook her head. “No… none of my classmates have it so…” 

a quiet pause as she took another breath in with a short sigh, calming herself down. Her smaller hand latched themselves to the School Nurse’s lab coat. “U-un.. you’re right.” she admitted, nodding slightly. “I’ll just buy another one tomorrow and redo it before Tuesday’s class.” She was still slightly disappointed but it’s not good to stay down for a long time. After all, it’s okay to feel sad but you have to know when not to wallow in it they say~

“Anything I can do to help?”

Finally a small smile curved at the edge of her lips at his offer. “U~nnn..” she shook her head. “You’ve done plenty. Thank you, Kotarou.” she replied. smiling up to him. He really has. It was tremendous what the effect of his gestures can do to strengthen her. Really, where does he get such an effect over her.

It’s not good to worry him and so many others like this. The only thing left to do is fix the problem.

Seeing her lips slowly turned into a small smile put a faint grin on his own face as well. He let out a sigh in relief upon catching the sight of her eyes, strong and determined once again. Yes, this is the Ryu he knows and loves. No matter how hard the challenge is, or how bad it might seems, she’ll get back on track. She never gives up.

His brows rose up slightly at her response, before his gaze softened considerably. Despite the fact that he hardly have time to be with her, take her out for a date or even spending time alone, she still react as if his simple gesture means the world to her. He reached his arm out, pulling her shoulder closer so he could plant a soft, gentle kiss on her forehead.

“Good girl…” He murmured, pulling back and flashed a warm smile at her, his hand ruffling her soft, short hair. “Do your best, Ryu. I know you can do it.”

She jolted slightly at hearing her name being called. Her mind was much too absorbed thinking over on where she could’ve placed the particular book of paper that she didn’t notice the Teal Haired Teacher calling out to her.

“A-Ah… K-Kotarou…” she turned around, slight tear gathering in her eyes. “I.. I misplaced it.” lips trembling slightly at the thought of having to redo the tedious work. “M-My black layout pad.. my homework was in there…” The lecturer in charge was one of the strictest teaching her class that semester too. A single mistake would earn her a fail. And that was the least she needed when she had already decided to apply for the school scholarship this year.

“N-No, I can’t.. recall.” her eyes somber greatly, worried about having not enough time to redo everything before Tuesday. She never misplace her school books no matter how many she has. School and drawing was the only two aspects of her life that she found she was super organized with.

“H-Have you by any chance seen it anywhere?”

He shook his head at her question. “I’m sorry, but I don’t think I do.” His voice dropped a little, knowing he couldn’t help her out much. He had been busy lately, so he didn’t get a chance to see her much, that’s why he bothered to make this Tumblr blog in the first place, so that at least he could communicate with her.

“Is there any chance someone could keep it for you if you misplaced it?” He questioned, trying to think. Maybe if she misplaced it somewhere, some students might pick it up and send it to lost and found?

“But if you really can’t think of any place, still, you have to calm down. With you panicking, it’d solve nothing…” He remained calm, extending his hand to pat her head in hope to calm her down a bit. “It’s okay… If you can’t find it, you better be prepare to redo it again right? The faster the better. Anything I can do to help?”

I.. I can’t find my Layout Pad that I did the tracing of my typography with… anywhere. Why…? I never misplace my homework.. Oh goodness.. did I leave it somewhere in school or something…?

Wait.

Does this mean.

I have to buy a new layout / tracing pad tomorrow retrace all 10 pages of comparative Typographies … ?

HORROR!!!! 

He looked at the girl as she started to panic and blood slowly drained from her face. Setting down the pen in his hand, he focused his attention to her.

“Did you lose something, Ryu?” He asked, face full of worry. She seemed troubled, he just wish he could help her out somehow.

“Calm down and try to think carefully. Where did you last seen it? Did you recall?”
